Airport
Q. Is shuttle service available from the airport?
A. Yes. The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport services all major airlines (Airport code is CVG). The airport is located 20 minutes from UC Campus and shuttle service is available by our staff for $20 one-way; $30 roundtrip. Please email ucsoccercamp@uc.edu with your flight itinerary and a contact phone number to arrange for pick up at the airport.
Camp Equipment
Q. What items should campers bring to camp?
A. Each camper will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Mini, Day and Advanced Campers will also receive an Adidas soccer ball. All campers must bring proper playing equipment: cleats, shinguards, extra socks/t-shirts, sunscreen, etc. Overnight campers should review the detailed camp confirmation sent via e-mail upon acceptance regarding travel and necessary equipment.
Camp Staff
Q. What coaches will be present at the camps?
A. In addition to the UC coaching staff, the camp will feature top college coaches, current and former professional players and college standouts to ensure the development of each camper. Members of the UC Men's and Women's teams will be present at all sessions and will interact directly with the campers throughout the weeks.

Discounts
Q. Do you offer discounts to UC employees, teams or siblings?
A. Yes! We offer the following discounts. In order to receive a discount, you must mail the application to the office with documentation for the discount. Online payment does not allow discounted payments.
- UC Employees: $25
- UC Athletic department employee: $50
- Teams: $50 (10 or more) please see “Teams” on this page for more information
- Sibling of Camper: $10 (can be applied to each sibling after paying for first child in full)
Goalkeeper training
Q. Does the camp offer specialized goalkeeper training?
A. Yes, please indicate on the application or online registration form that you will attend GK training. Specialized goalkeeper train¬ing will be conducted during each week of camp. Quality staff members will introduce basic goalkeeper techniques as well as provide valuable match experience during day camps. During the residential programs, goalkeepers will improve their technique while developing a better tactical understanding of their position. Goalkeeper evaluations will be provided to each advanced camper at the end of the week.
Hotel Information
Q. Is lodging available near the campus outside of the camp dates?
A. Yes, lodging is available at the historic Vernon Manor Hotel for players traveling to camp from out of town with lodging needs outside of the camp dates. The hotel is located at 400 Oak St. in Cincinnati (less than 1 mile from UC) and provides a shuttle service to campus. Please call (513)281-3300 for availability, reference the UC Soccer Camp for a reduced rate.
Location and Camp facility
Q. Where is the University of Cincinnati Located?
A. The University of Cincinnati is located in Clifton, just 3 miles north of Downtown Cincinnati. The UC campus is easily accessible from I-75, I-74 and I-71, 1.5 hours north of Louisville, KY, 2 hours east of Indianapolis, IN, 1 hour south of Dayton, OH. Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the university's camps serving all national and international carriers.
Q. Directions to campus?
A.
From I-75 North or South: Exit at Hopple St and turn left at the set of lights (east). Cross over interstate and through Central Parkway up the hill. Hopple eventually becomes Martin Luther King Dr. Follow MLK to the intersection of Jefferson Ave. Turn right onto Jefferson. Proceed past the first set of lights and take a right onto Corry Street. The Calhoun parking garage will be on your left after two stop signs, approximately 100 yards down the road adjacent to Gettler Stadium.
From I-71 South: Exit at Taft Rd. Follow Taft to the intersection of Jefferson Ave. Turn right onto Jefferson. Take a left at the first light on to Corry Street. The parking lot will be on your left after two stop signs, approximately 100 yards down the road adjacent to Gettler Stadium.
From I-74: (Indianapolis and the west) Take I-74 to I-75 south. Follow directions above from I-75.

Meals
Q. What meals are provided?
A. Please see your camp confirmation for details. All meals are covered for the Advanced Camp and lunch is provided for College Prep Camp. Day and Mini Campers have the option to bring their own lunch or purchase lunch from our camp store. (The camp store will offer: pizza, assorted snacks, water and sports drinks)
Medical Information
Q. What medical supervision and coverage is available during the camp?
A. Qualified athletic trainers will be on duty through the duration of the camps to care for minor injuries, sickness, and to ensure that all campers receive proper rest and hydration. The University of Cincinnati Sports Medicine Center is located adjacent to the playing fields if necessary. Trainers will also reside in the dorms during residential camps to care for the athletes.
Q. What medical information is required for campers to attend camp?
A. Each camper must complete the Cincinnati Soccer Academy Medical release form that was included as an attachment with your camp e-mail confirmation. If you need an electronic copy of the form, please click here
Parking
Please see your confirmation for camp specific parking details.
Q. Where can I drop off campers?
A. Calhoun garage is located directly next to Gettler Stadium. There will be no charge for the first hour of parking during the camps. Please escort the campers from the garage into Gettler Stadium. You are also permitted to access the garage for 30 minutes to pick up campers at the end of the day.
Q. Where can I park long-term?
A. If you wish to stay on campus throughout the day, a flat daily parking fee is available. Please ask for details at registration.

Registration
Q. Where do I register upon arrival for Day, Mini and Team Camp?
A. Please come to the Gettler Stadium Concourse and check-in with our staff. Registration begins one hour prior to the start of camp on first day.
Q. Is on-site registration available on the first day of camp?
A. Registration will remain open until each camp reaches full capacity. We are happy to take walk-up registrations on the first day of each respective camp. Please call or email us to check space availability if you are planning to register on-site.
Teams
Q. Do you offer specific training for teams? Do teams receive a discount?
A. We encourage teams of all ages to attend the Soccer Academy! Teams will remain together and be trained as a unit. This is unique opportunity for teams to train together with top level coaches during the summer prior to their fall season. We also welcome the team's coaching staff to observe our sessions anytime. Team training is available during any camp and team discounts are available for teams of 10 or more. Each player will receive a $50 discount, please circle on the application form and be sure to note your TEAM Name.
