John Adams

Assistant Coach

John Adams is in his first year as assistant coach for HBU.

A native of Akron, Ohio, Adams was an All-City and All-District performer at Walsh Jesuit, being named the team MVP as a senior. He went on to the University of Cincinnati, where he was an All-Conference USA selection as a senior while posting a school career record of 0.72 goals allowed in his four years with the Bearcats.

After college, Adams played two seasons with the Cincinnati Excite of the AISL. He then embarked on his coaching career with a graduate assistant stint at UC in 2003-04. He was the Director of Coaching at the Southeast Cincinnati Soccer Association from 2006-08, while also serving in a volunteer coaching role at UC in 2007.

Adams is a member of the NSCAA and US Youth Soccer Association. He is married to the former Isabel Campos.
