If you are on the cutting edge of transforming young athletes and have a story to share – a training program that everyone should know about, benefits of something you’ve tried and tested in practice or games, lessons that were learned the hard way and what you did to correct the error, or a general philosophy that is too beneficial not to share – then you are in the right place.

What We Need

We can always use positive, constructive, actionable blog posts that will benefit parents or athletes in their pursuit of athletics excellence. If you have an idea for a post that matches what we’re looking for, email us with “Guest Submission: [Proposed Title]” in the subject line, and be sure to include the following information in your message:

  • A few sentences describing your proposed post and a high-level outline (keep in mind that finished blog posts should be less than 800 words)
  • Links to multimedia that you plan to include
  • A few words about the intended target audience for your blog (basketball, soccer, football, parents, etc.)
  • An 80-word bio with details about you and why you are qualified to write about your topic
  • Full disclosure of any commercial interest in any products or services mentioned
  • Your Twitter handle and a link to your Facebook page (if you have these)

We prefer original submissions. If your post has appeared elsewhere, please inform us of where it can be found.

Our Process

If your proposal is accepted, we’ll ask you to share a draft. Next, it is likely that we will want to work with you to do at least one round of revisions.

Because of the volume of submissions we receive, we have to say no to a lot of submissions, including good ones. While we are not able to respond substantively to everyone, please know that we read all proposals and we sincerely appreciate the time and effort required to prepare a proposal for our consideration. We do our best to respond to all proposals within six to eight weeks.
