and Elite Camp PRICES: The price for the Individual Camp is $305 for Residents and $245 for Commuters. For the Elite Camp the prices are $380 for Residents and $315 for Commuters. DEPOSIT/REFUNDS: A $100 deposit sent before June 1st will secure your place at Volleyball Camp. E-mail will be your deposit confirmation. Your CASH balance is due on the day of registration. NO CHECKS will be accepted at Registration. No refunds will be given. All applications received after May 1 = $25.00 late fee. AGES: The Individual Camp will be for children ages 10-18 years old. The Elite Camp is for campers ages 15-18. DIRECTIONS: Click here for campus map. OBJECTIVE: The Individual Camp will provide each individual volleyball player an opportunity to improve their present skills and to effectively apply these skills in match situations. The skills covered are passing, setting, attacking, blocking and defense. Each player will be assessed by the coaches and placed in groups according to her skill level and experience. Emphasis will be placed on improving at one's own pace and enjoying the excitement of the sport. ELITE CAMP: The elite camp is structured to provide advanced players with an opportunity to train together and become better volleyball players. The program will include technical and tactical training by position. Lectures will be conducted on Recruiting, Weight Training, Nutrition and Rehabilitation and Prevention. A written evaluation will be given to each participant. This camp is offered to those campers who are between the ages of 15-18 and have played at least one year on their varsity high school team. REGISTRATION: June 21st, 10:00 - 11:30am WHAT TO BRING: Campers need to bring an adequate amount of volleyball clothes (shorts, shirts, socks, shoes and rain gear). Also, bring towels, single sheets, pillow and pillowcase, personal toilet articles, leisure clothes and an alarm clock. You may want to bring additional money for the Volleyball Camp store. Laundry facilities will be available. HOUSING: Will be in the University of Central Florida Dorms located on the campus. These rooms are air-conditioned and there will be 2 to 4 campers per room. Roommates may be requested on the application form. ROOM KEY FEE: A $20.00 key deposit will be collected at registration. Your key deposit will be refunded at checkout upon key return. MEALS: Meals will be served at the UCF Dining Hall, or catered in the Education Gym. T-SHIRT: Each camper will receive a Volleyball Camp T-shirt. DAILY SCHEDULE: |
